The Classico Berardenga Wine List

“To research what has been, to exalt what is and to take care of what will be.”

The project was originally launched in 2016, inspired by the Association partners’ idea to offer local restaurants with a collective wine list containing references from each winemaker.

The Wine List represents a valuable tool for local restaurateurs to promote the territory and to help create new strong synergies with local wine producers, united in the common goat of giving voice to an immense heritage of culture and traditions and to help promote the entire Berardenga area and its richness.

Due to its unique characteristics and thanks to its proximity to Siena, as well as to the strong link with the history of the city over the centuries, the Chianti Classico produced in Castelnuovo Berardenga has confirmed its status as the “most Sienese”. The geological and micro-climatic richness of this land of ours, with its southernmost position within the wine region of which it is part, is expressed through structured, balanced and elegant wines ideal to also be appreciated at the table, accompanied by traditional Tuscan dishes.
