Losi Querciavalle

The Losi family, wine agriculturalists since 1870, cultivated the vineyards belonging to the monastery of Pontignano before becoming the owners themselves in 1954. Tranquillo Losi, founder of the estate collaborated with the famous oenologist Tancredi Biondi Santi, from whom he learned many secrets of producing fine wines to pass on to future generations. From then until now, on those same lands in the hills of Castelnuovo Berardenga, facing the town of Siena, the Losi family continues to maintain and preserve the traditional and authentic winemaking culture of Chianti.
