La Lama, ‘The Farm’, is a small winery-estate nestled in the hills of the Senese Chianti area. The farm covers an area of just 5 Hectares, 2 ha of which are vineyards personally cured by the Campani family, with a limited production of 7-8 thousand bottles a year. This scale of exclusive production permits a refined selection of grape, slow aging in wood barrels and further extended aging in the bottle. For more than 50 years La Lama has worked with a respect for tradition and a spirit of dedication and warm hospitality. The current members of the family, Duccio, Tiziana and Sarah are happy to welcome anyone to their cellar who wishes to visit and taste their wines. Av. Altitude: 350 mt. Production: Chianti Classico, Riserva and IGT Rosso Toscano. Aging: 18 months minimum in 10 hl French oak wood barrels.
